IOSH WORKING SAFELY

About the course
IOSH Working Safely course is designed specifically to train employees from a wide range of backgrounds of the basic principles of health and safety in the workplace. The course covers the fundamentals of working safely especially the importance of individual responsibilities when it comes to workplace accidents. This 1 day program is accredited by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Who should attend this course?
The course is ideal for people at any level, in any sector, needing grounding in the essentials of health and safety. Everyone at work should have an understanding of why they must "work safely" which the course exactly offers.

Course contents
IOSH Working Safely covers the essentials of health and safety which includes the following topics:
  • An outline of occupational safety and health
  • Defining hazard and risk
  • Identifying common hazards
  • Improving safety performance

Certification & Assessment
The assessment consists of a multiple choice examination and Hazard spotting assessment.
Delegates who successfully complete the written and practical assessments can choose between IOSH’s working safely certificate or a credit card-sized ‘passport’ card.

Course Duration
This is a 1 day training.
